DETAILS:

Hines and Long had a tent set up on a city right of way for at least one week. Camping is not allowed at the location, and the camp was set up during a prohibited time.

DISPOSITION:

Hines and Long were both cited and released on scene for Prohibited Camping. Hines and Long packed up their camp and moved along after citations were issued.

DETAILS:

Officers responded to a three-vehicle collision. It was learned Hamlin attempted a left turn from NE Stephens onto NE Dixon and failed to see D2 who was driving northbound on NE Stephens, resulting in D2 crashing into the side of Hamlin's vehicle. Hamlin's vehicle then swung and struck D3 who was waiting at the stop sign at NE Dixon. V2 and V3 were towed from the scene due to damage. Firefighters on scene informed an officer that Hamlin's breath smelled of alcohol. A subsequent investigation confirmed Hamlin showed signs of impairment, admitted to drinking several beers before the crash, and performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests. His vehicle was impounded. He was taken into custody without incident.

Simone was contacted in the parking lot near NW Premier Auto Sales regarding an ongoing trespass investigation. The night prior, Simone jumped the fence at NW Premier Auto Sales and used their electricity to charge his vehicle. The owner wished to pursue charges.

Officers contacted Travis while responding to a report of a suspicious male walking near residents' vehicles and into their carports. Travis was found a couple of blocks away and was questioned regarding the report. Travis denied involvement but was wanted by his probation officer. Travis also admitted to having a user amount of methamphetamine in his possession. Travis was detained and transported to Douglas County Corrections.

Travis was lodged at Douglas County Corrections.

Officers responded to a report of a possible trespass. Upon arrival officers contacted Myers and Marlow. Marlow was found to have two warrants for her arrest. The warrants were confirmed through Records, and she was taken into custody. The trespass was unfounded.

DETAILS:

Officers responded to a call of a male trespassing in the Southgate Market (1967 SE Stephens St.). The owner had trespassed Barry the day prior for disturbing customers. Barry returned to the store in the morning where he refused to leave until officers arrived. Officers contacted Barry outside the premises where he was arrested for Criminal Trespasses in the Second Degree.

DISPOSITION:

Barry was lodged at the Douglas County Jail.
